Peter Rak was born in Maribor and has a Bachelor in Art History from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. As a journalist he works for the biggest Slovenian newspaper company Delo since 1996. In his spare time he writes for the Delo and Pogledi newspaper, while he is seriously committed to music, writing plays, photography and sailing. In 2011 he received the prestigious Slovenian journalism prize, the Jurčič Award.
