In September, singers from the Slovene National Theatre (SNG) Maribor Choir, the Hugo Wolf Chamber Choir and other renowned singers come together to form the Maribor Festival Mixed Choir.

The chorus master is Daniela Candillari, who is also the chorus master of the SNG Maribor Choir. The chorus master of the Hugo Wolf Chamber Choir is Aleš Marčič.
