He teaches sociology of popular bands at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. He publishes texts about contemporary culture and music in various printed and electronic media. Since the late 80’s he works at Radio Študent (Slovenian student radio), where he puts on jazz, blues, improvised music and African bands in the radio show Ideal band.
