Bosiljka Perić Kempf was born in Zagreb, where she also graduated in piano and music history at the Academy of Music. In addition, she successfully completed the studies of the French Language and French Literature at the Zagreb University. Until 1996 she was employed as editor at the editorial department for classical music at the Croatian Radio Station. Since 1996 she works as an independent journalist and publicist.

From the middle of the 1990s the public knows her as the music critic for the daily Novi list.

She also worked for different Croatian and Slovenian newspapers and culture magazines (Vjesnik, Vijenac, Delo, Razgledi, Večer). Nowadays she predominantly writes about culture politics in the globalised world.
