Bass-baritone
Since February 2011 Klemen studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz with Prof Ulf Bästlein and Media Communications at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Maribor.

He has taken solo-singing classes with Aleš Marčič in Maribor from 2008. After a year of his solo-singing studies he worked together with the Opera House of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor at the productions of Turandot, The Queen of Spades, La boheme, La forza del destino and Romeo et Juliette.

He participated in several competitions: the Competition for Young Slovenian Musicians (TEMSIG) in 2009, where he won the first prize; the International Competition for Young Musicians “Petar Konjović” in spring 2010 in Belgrade, where he placed second; the International Singing Competition “Feruccio Tagliavini” in spring 2012 in Deutschlandsberg, Austria, where he sang in the finale and won the prize for the best Mozart interpretation.
